Mounting a TC Lobo scope
«

Just picked one up in in very good condition today for 5 bucks. I have no Idea how these things mount, as there is a rail like thing with grooves on the bottom and it is hexi(dexi?)gonally shaped. I believe there is a mount made for them to go on TC Contenders. Is there a mount that can be purchased to alow it to go on a Ruger SBH? My SBH has a Weigland Rail on it now.
Thanks

There used to be a mount offered by T/C 30 years ago to allow a Lobo to be mounted on a Ruger. I have no idea where to find one now.
I doubt very very seriously that one would stand up to recoil on a SBH. Mine worked fine on .22LR barrels, but I once had one fail on a .22 Magnum.

Buckhammer,
Might be your lucky day! I have TWO of the ruger mounts!
the catch is, I think they are for the single six/srm frame.
