That Silly Ban

Hello everyone.  I know the ban on high capacity magazines and "assault rifles" is due to sunset sometime this year, barring action by Congress to renew it.  Does anyone know when that is supposed to happen, or any thoughts when we should expect manufacturers to have some new high capacity magazines available?  Sorry to ask if this subject has already been discussed ad nausium.
