1917 Cock on Open

I have two 1917 enfields that are sporterized, both are still cock on close.  Searching Numerich Arms, I found a "Cock on Open" assembly but it states that it is for original military trigger only.  Both of my rifles have trigger mods.  One has a Huber Concept replacement and the other a Timmney. 
Has anyone made this conversion and if so, can it be adjusted to work on the Timmney?

The problem stems from differences in the cocked position of the striker sear. The 1917 has a quite long striker fall and it's difficlut to get the length and depth of cam to generate that much rearward movement so the trigger sear must be relocated a bit to the rear. I don't even know if that is possible for the individual.. I've used the Dayton-traister conversion with their trigger and while the conversion was fine the triggers sucked. I was forced to rebuild them before they worked satisfactorily. Of course this was with the M96 Swedish rifle but the effect is the same. The Winchester made Enfield my 300 WinMag uses a trigger no longer in production.

After a lot more research, think I will pass on their conversion.  Seems there is a high probability that it will not function consistently.  I located a gun smith that was familiar with the conversion and his recommendation was to leave it cock on close OR get another rifle....
Dayton system.  I want to stay with the safety I have, changing will create action work that I do not want to do...so....

Most conversions will leave the Enfields safety alone. It is fairly positive and conveniently located.. I have seen the safety removed and a M70 style safety installed. This with renovating the bolt stop/ejector box can make these rifles very much like a magnum mauser..at least as far as looks..

I have a P-14 and a 1917, both converted to cock on open and both have Timney triggers. No problem with either. You can call and talk to both Timney and Dayton Traister, which I did. Was a little concerned since it involves making a cut in the bolt body, but everything functions as advertised.
