Vortex Fury 8x32 or Eagle optics Ranger SRT 8x32 binoculars
« on: January 23, 2011, 10:15:15 AM »
Thinking about trying one of these binoculars.
I Got a pair of the Leupold Yosemitee 6x30 and like the lightweight and the clear view but feel like I can hold an 8x steady enough and want to try a roof prism which I understand is easier to waterproof .
I need some input from those who have used these binoculars .
Thanks,Craig

dont know eagle optics but vortex are good glass for the money. If you are going to use them at low light id step up to a 40mm set at 8x though. your 6x30s have an exit pupil of 5mm which is fine for most low light but a 8x30 has an exit pupil a bit less then 4 and could use bigger lenses.
