Unsure of the caliber your loading it in.... ::)

If 30-30Winchester,  IMRs 30-31 has always been a good choice.

Personally I use W748 and the 160 FTX.

Yeah seems strange that they don't have any data for such a popular 30-30 round.

Thanks.  Wanted to be sure the load was repeatably accurate before loading a bunch up so I copied it and headed up to the range real quick.  The first shot, closest to the bull was the cold bore shot.  There are 6 shots in the bigger hole.

Rifle is an old Stevens 325C that I got for my wife because she doesnt like shooting my .270 but I've been having so much fun I may not give it back.

Not my choice of bullets but definately my powder for my 308. It isn't the fastest but one ragged hole 3 shot groups at 100 yards keeps me coming back.

Yeah I'm with you, I'd rather hit them where I need to than miss them real fast.

Same load.  Wind was blowing real hard today, 15-20mph.  Wanted to see how this load did in the wind so I went up to the range real quick.  First shot was about 1.5-2" high, its not in the pic.  These were the next three.
