finally going up to get my bow

im going for the ride today to pick up my like new shape  :o  ;D bear 42# 62 inch tigercat recurve im excited meeting him at 4:30 he said he has some PO shafts and a bow stringer he will throw in the trade
great deal im a happy going to be archer  ;) :D ;D 8)

well i got up there and back. i  brought home a 1968 bearcat 66 inch 48# like new recurve  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.  boy am i happy i went up there for the tigercat but it was to small for my hand. the bear cat felt better now i need to work on my arm strength . the guy i got it from said to get a 12 strand string for it . learn to shoot it till i work my muscles then when im comfortable shooting it. go to a 14 strand for hunting . its a little bit hard for me to pull right now but im sure after i shoot it a while i will build up the muscles to shoot it easier.  boy its a nice bow black outside and white on the inside brown handle white limb tips and a looks to be copper bear coin in the side.  ill get pics up soon theres a few spots where something dripped on it just discolored a lil bit but no crazing or stress cracks.  almost new looking wow im happy now to see if the arrows i have fly straight from it.  they are st epic 600 full length carbons with 125gr. field tips hope they shoot good going to try to get up to my buddys this weekend to try it out oh did i say im happy  ;D

i think i did good too swampman i bought that canoe for 50 bucks never used it cause i have 2 others just bought it for a loaner so it just sat there the guy i traded for has 2 kids and they are excited to go canoing and im excited to get shooting the ol lady said your not going to shoot that bow i told her yes hun i am and if i dont it takes up less room and laughed i am happy with the trade and hope to learn to shoot it good enough to hunt with this year  :D
