The FOX B Model was introduced in 1940. Savage, using earlier model designs, made an attempt to stay in the double gun market with a less expensive shotgun than their premire A.H. FOX line for the amazing price of $25.75 ~ Basically, the FOX B line, Model B, BST, BSE, BDL and BDE is a Stevens design when Savage bought them out in 1920.
It continued in production with modifications until 1987. The gun pictured below was made in 1975.
