As all you Ruger guys know, Ruger 22/45 lowers are not serialized so there are no transfer problems. I have a neighbor who wants a stripped 22/45 lower to modify for the use of 1911 laser grips. I'm assuming Ruger has them for sale, anyone know of another source? I checked Numrich and Brownell's without success.

Edit: Just heard back from Ruger. I am told they will exchange damged or defective lowers one for one, but the lower is not for sale at this time.
