Classic for TC?

Hi everybody.
I see some aftermarket barrel makers offers calibers called "classic". They are from .17 and up to 7mm.
Do anyone know the history about these calibers?

I don't know much about these cartridges except that they are basically the .30 Herrett necked down to various calibers. The .30 Herrett was developed by the late Steve Herrett and Bob Milek for the T/C Contender.

Thanks for the answer. I have both 30 Herrett and 357 Herrett and they are great calibers. Have wanted a 6,5mm verson of the 30H, maby the 6,5 Classic is the solution?
Anybody know the performance of the 6,5 Classic?

The Classic's were designed for classic single shot rifles and TC's by Todd Kindler based on the 30-30 Win parent case to approximate PPC and BR case capacities and velocities that are safely shootable in a Contender. Best bet if you want to know all there is to know about these proprietary cartridges is to contact Todd at the Woodchuck Den.
