Anybody use the Hicks #1 Accurizer?

Does anybody use the Hicks #1 Accurizer?  Sounds interesting easy way to squeeze as much accuracy you can out of the Ruger #1, #3 Platform.

Yes, I use a Hicks in a #3 custom 250AI that I built about five years ago.
I have been more than satisfied with the accuracy of this rifle. Shootind
75gr Hornady V-Max I have killed prairie dogs at just over 400yds.
300yds is a walk-in-the-park. For anyone shooting a Ruger single
I highly recommend the Hicks and the Kepplinger single-set trigger.

Hi big boar,

I installed the hicks device several years ago and not that happy with it.
First, it goes on the gun real easy but inletting the wood on forearm is a
pain. Second, any change to forearm and the device has to be re-set. Third,
it is hard to decide were is leave it set. My gun is a #1b in .338 win mag, with-
out the device I get 6" of vertical stringing, so it does work. Now if I was to
do it over, I would just drill a hole in hanger and put a set screw; now you
could take forearm off without changing everything. Just shot the gun yesterday
and not happy with 2" groups moving around; so I'm working on it as I write
this. If there is any help from someone how to make it work better.
