Worms, Sponges and Ramrods

Almost done with my 2/3 scale mt howitzer and need to work on the implements. Does anyone have pictures they would like to share or tips for building from scratch worms, sponges and ramrods for bores with reduced powder-chambers (3.08" bore - 1.4" powder-chamber)? The worm, I think I can forge or cold form my own.

Simple answer.  Paint rollers!  Cut them down to size. 



I thought we had a bunch of links in the reference section on this but we don't.  The fellows will jump in here with other ideas for you and I will link this to the reference section.  The point is there isn't just one good idea the are lots of good ideas. 

Shotgun swabs for smaller bores.

For smaller caliber say 58 through 69 caliber I know someone who has a supply of
original musket wipes (worms) that work well in small cannon ....    ;)
