What's the general feeling on how these two stack up against all the other 1911's out there? Such as Kimber, Springfield, Colt etc.

Rum River - both are being talked up as excellent pieces of work rivalling the others. Some of the other posters have only good things to say about them. They are quality pieces that are supposed to compete with the best. Mikey.
