Maybe there's not much demand for synthetic stocks so they just stuck to producing one size, one mold. I ,personally don't care for the idea of puttin synthetic stocks on decent rifles unless I've got to pack it for 15 miles. And chances are, if you're on a hunt that requires you to travel that far, you'll most likely be shooting from prone at long distance game such as pronghorn or elk. Shooting from prone changes optimum LOP from weaver stance type shooting. And if you consider that Encores have a bit more of a vertical pistol grip style on their rifle stocks than most conventional rifle stocks have, your length of pull actually increases with with the angle of the grip.
