Need help with fire forming loads
« on: February 04, 2011, 07:06:42 PM »
Guys I need to fire form some brass for my 7mm TCU and my 30 Herrett. I have alot of Unique powder on hand( I want to save my H-335 for hunting loads) So my question is do you all have any load data for either cartridge with Unique powder?

I will be using 120grain cast bullets for the 7mm TCU. And 150 grain jacketed bullets for the 30 Herrett.

I used to fireform the 7 TCU while shooting IHMSA matches.  Didn't see much if any deterioration of accuracy by doing so, all it did was sharpen the shoulder slightly.  As far as the 30 Herret is concerned basically did the same thing, I did however use the 375 SM brass as it was already trimmed and one shot through the FL die and I was ready to go to town.  Shot the TCU for standing and the Herrett in production.

If I agreed with you then we would both be wrong.
