Rem Buckhammers in a Ultra Slugger?
« on: March 06, 2011, 03:39:30 AM »
Looking for a cheaper alt to the $15 box Lightfields, and lighter load for the Kids.
Buckhammers are ~$6.00 a box and avail in mamaged recoil.
they are listed as for "rifled barrels" but "a full bore slug",,
Anyone using them ? do they "lead " the barrel ?

Thanks,
Nick

I've been shooting them in my 20ga USH since 2003. I've not had any problems with leading (200 rounds thru my gun). They are very accurate out 80 yards which is the farthest I've shot them.

They are what I use have had nothing but dead deer with them. I like the managed recoil also. They are great for the money. Kurt
