Does anyone know where parts can be purchased for one of these or better yet is the magazine catch,release mechanism the same as a ar-15 in .223      any help or were to look on web would be appreciated     Thanks in advanced

Are you sure you mean Winchester M&P 15-22, or do you mean Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22?
