Using Triple 7 in my Flintlock?
« on: December 19, 2003, 09:59:04 AM »
I've got a flintlock that I have been shooting Pyrodex pellets in, and using 4-F blackpowder in the pan. I'm wanting to switch over to Triple 7 instead of Pyrodex pellets. I notice that Triple 7 is available in 2-F and 3-F, but not 4-F. Do you guys think I could use the 3-F in the pan, or would I be better off to just keep using real blackpowder in the pan? Thanks for any advice or suggestions.

The killer awoke before dawn, he put his boots on. He took a face from the ancient gallery and he walked on down the hall.
