Just bought a 197 prefix that didn't have rings with it and was wondering what height the standard rings are. I have a pair of stainless rings that i could use but they might be too short.

http://shopruger.com/searchscopering.asp
couple of drop-down menus and you should have the answer.
I was just trying to fugure the same out for my # 1.
also found this chart:

also, just ordered some. best price was at
http://www.Tactical-Store.com
free shipping. be sure to order two rings.
(Of course all this is based the assumption that yours uses the current kind with the semi-circular claw)

The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.
