I have a 12" (not ported) barrel in a 35 REm. I have thought about sending it to be turned into a 358 jdj. Would 12" be a good length or would it be better to get a 14" barrel to be rechambered?

If it were a 14" hunter bbl., it would actually have just 12-3/4" of rifling. That is what mine measured. I had JD rechamber it to .358JDJ. It's GREAT! Pat
