Malloc ,
I'm far from an expert....but in my experience, The semi's that I've owned have mostly all required some "break In ". Both my MKIII and my 345 had issues for the first few magizines. After probably less than a hundred rounds my p-345 will shoot anything, and not miss a beat. The MKIII will still stove-pipe once in a great while....believe it to be more of a ammo issue than the gun. I had a Springer 45 that would not shoot a full magizine with out stovepiping (after several hundred rounds )I called and shipped it back to them, when it came back.......it never malfunctioned again. As bad as your problem seems to be...I would tend to think something is amuck. But as others have advised...try other ammo and give it several hundred rounds. Then call Ruger , they may not have a "written" warrenty, but they will stand behind their weapons.
good luck
