Just a question here, probably not an answer.

Does the 800a have the same trigger adjustment that the 810 does? My 810 is simple to change.

Remove action from wood by taking the bottom screws out (after removing the bolt).
Using the correct size of allen wrench tighten or loosen the trigger pull.

You may want to insert the bolt to check the pull as you are making the adjustment.

At least that's how it works with the 810 series. Hope this helps.

If it's the pin itsself that's not hitting the primer I'd try some light oil ( I steal the wife's sewing maching oil) and see if the smith got somethin a bit too tight.

I've never seen an 810 but my 800 does not have any type of adjustment that I have seen, I've had it apart quite a few times trying to get a decent trigger out of it.  I've thought about the original question and really haven't been able to come up with any answer for him.

The 800's trigger is housed in a large plastic housing.  Mine has been a project gun and I'll eventually get it shooting like I want.
Which lie got to you so that you refuse Him???
