What surplup do you want for Christmas???           BigBill

I'm not sure yet, HINT: but plenty of specials at AIM (yugo sks's  w/free ship) & (Igman ammo on sale too)  Romanian 8MM 380rd/$29.95,  Mosin M38,  M91/30, M44 w/accessories  $69 each.

I'm trying to scrounge up some cash for the 3 fer deal that Century has on K31's.  I have one already but I'd love a couple (or 3  :) more)

I just got my first christmas present "To Me from Me"  12 boxes of Igman ammo 9 boxes of 6.5 swede and 3 boxes of 8mm mauser.   Yes I'm trying to hold off reloading again!!!!!  At $5.95 a box with no hazmat charge???                                                  BigBill

well the wife says I'll be able to order one of SOG's 98/22's on paydaynext Friday. Things have been real tight and usually she aint too keen on me gettin' any more rifles when there's groceries to be bought,cars to fuel up. 'n a house to pay for,and a dozen other things :lol:   Hank

I picked up a 98/22 8mm czech mauser a while back its a nice gun. One of the few 29" barreled 8MM's i have so far.                   BigBill

I like the Mosin Nagant's myself.  Just got a nice one from the local pawn shop a couple of week's ago.
Went to the gun show today, seen several there, but the price was way to high, from $95. for club guns, to $185. for one's in nice shape, but nothing special.
Think I'll try ordering from Aim, they have 91/30's for $69.95+shipping.

I heard the ones from AIM are nice guns.  I'm looking for rare mosins (hex recievers) which are harder to find but do comeby if we wait for them. I have a lot of round reciever mosin's.  I was thinking of a M91/59 from AIM $99.  I did  also see a finnish mosin M39 for $495 today too "I passed on it".                                               BigBill

The next trip to the range the mosin's are going!!!

I had two Remington Enfeilds in 30-06, so I sent one in to re-barrel to 35 Whelen Ackley Improved.  Already paid them for it, just in case I get low on funds this winter....now I just wait and see if it makes it by Christmas.  Yee-Haw!

The one I got from the pawn shop was a 1932 Tula, in 98% condition.  Paid less than $100. for it.  The stock has had the cheap red finish removed and a nice oil finish applied.  Look's great.  I'm like you thou, really like the odd find's, as long as they are in my price range.

How about a nice 03A3 with a four groove barrel, or one of the nice hand picked Russian capture 98K's from Empire Arms, or a Sako (VKT would be okay too) M-39 in like new condition, or a nice Swiss K-31, or a No. 4 Mk II Enfield, or a really nice French Mas 36, or a nice 1909 Argie, or a................................

As you guys can see, my wallet/financial future is lookin' pretty bleak :oops:  :oops:  :oops:

I also see that SOG has ufixem russian m-44's for $29.00 each and from the feedback I've seen they aren't needin much fixin' just a lot of cosmo to remove and maybe some cracked handguards. Sounds like a neat stocking stuffer to me! :)

I have SOG's flyer and looking at the m91/30's and m38's their on sale for $59.95.  The 91's are either in Tula or HEX recievers(Izzy).  Both are in Excellent condition.  They also have Czech M1922 BRNO  on sale for $58.00, Czech VZ24  $79.95,  Yugo M48 $68 milled for $89,  mosin m44 for $39 good to very good.   Czech silver tip ammo 780rds/81.90 there are two prices same stock number the other is $87.75 make sure they give you the $81.   And 8mm yugo ammo is 900/ $57  then "2" cases (1800rds) for $102!!!!!  Sure makes for some stinkin plinkin fun don't it??

My oldest son told me to pickout any surplup I want and he'll get it for christmas for me??  So i looked and looked and found at Century Arms a German K98 8MM for $119.  I also ordered a ufixem Czech 8mm for $44.  I'll let you know what i recieve from Century.
