Burris Scopes

I am considering buying a 3-9 or 3-12 burris handgun scope.  Is there any advantage to either besides the obvious magnafication advantage for the 3-12X.  Any advice would be appreciated.

got 3 of the 3x12 and they're super. check out the 2x7 model with the adjustable objective. it does have a larger field of view on 2x if thats what you need. with 12x, a little care has to be taken on a big kicker. i have one on a 7-08 and can use it ok,although it was a little tricky at first. 8)
