S&W Model 18 Cylinder Release Removal??

I would like to give a good cleaning to a "K" Frame Model 18 revolver.
How do I remove the screw that holds the cylinder thumb release in place?
Clock wise, counter clock wise, remove something in the internal lockworks first? - Thanks - J.Solo

It's a cap screw, counter clockwise off, clock wise on.
