Laser Designator
« on: March 15, 2011, 12:44:02 PM »
My brother-in-law called me today with a question.  He has a significant coyote problem where he lives and needs to be able to effectively hunt them at night.  He looked into some NV scopes but didn't really want to pay $1500+ for one.  I told him he might want to check out the new laser designators that are out right now.  I believe they're being made by BSA but I'm not sure.  Anyway, was wondering if anyone had used one.

I built a infrared laser that can only be seen with nightvision( gen 1 works great for yotes.) i found that a red or green dot will put that yote in high gear for the next county. go with a head mount unit( check centerfire great deal at the moment) Rifle mounted scopes require you to paint everything you look at with your muzzle,  not the hot set-up if you ask me. the designator system with night vision makes your gun a point and bang unit.
the nation that forgets it defenders will itself be forgotten
