new 41cal pistol

Made by RL Morris, 41 cal pistol, seems to be 1:20 twist..should i shoot RB or conicals I wonder?  Cool rear sight DRGM ? or something?   I have another slug gun by this maker, check it out under the traditional forum http://www.gboreloaded.com/forums/index.php/topic,227538.0.html

What's the little sliding gizzy in front of the rear sight blade?

it varies the 'width' of the rear sight picture. The notch is narrow- then wider etc as needed. I imagine it is important for sight picture in some light situations? It is a cool little sight, will take more pics for you

It is hard to make out, there are 3 settings,  narrowest shown first then widest, it is hard to make out in the pics. In additon the windage knob is shown, height is on top in previous pics. Dovetailed nicely to the frame

Thanks! I had not seen that before (ever) It looks like some of the 22 match single shots: Hammerli, ect.
The extra side knob looks like it allows the sight to be taken off? Is that the makers name on the side?
DRGM, Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster (German Reich Registered Design) came up on google.
Looks like a hammer from a Colt SA, too.
