Red Dot Sight
« on: March 05, 2011, 03:14:14 AM »
I have a contender in 44 mag. 10" barrel that I want to put some type of red dot sight on. I want something that will hold up to the recoil and I would like to keep the price to under 200.00 preferably under 150.00if possible, also I have weaver bases on the barrel now and would like to have the rings fit them. I don't want a big sight as this will be used for hunting. Any suggestions.

I put Burris Fastfires on my RSBHH and my Contender 30.30 handgun and they ahve held up to both calibers not to mention they are small.

I have had one of these for 15 years or better. It has been on a bunch of contender barrels over the years. The two heaviest recoilers were a .445 supermag and a .444. It never has given me a problem.
