« on: February 26, 2011, 06:32:41 PM »
hi i am steve, my friends just call me chilly. i am new to windpower and after much reading i am about to atempt my first build. i have been curious for some time but the sudden reason to build a windgenerator is for a friend of mine living in the hills miles from any source of power. as of now he has 2 car batts that he switches out in his car and jump starts them for charging. i feel for him so i am trying to learn and help him at the same time. i have aleady recoverd a tread mill in working order. after playing with it i have many questions and thoughts. so here i am, thanks for all of you.
ya i am slow, missing half my brain and not using the other half.

Welcome aboard. There are quite a few guys here knowledgeable on wind and water power. There have been topics discussed so you may wish to use the search function to give you some ideas. But by all means start a new topic to get advise on the particular setup that your friend needs.

Greetings fellow geezer, This Forum speaks your language: Guns controlled by good people are good, God has blessed the United States, live free or die. We remember Howdy-Doody and Buffalo Bob.

                                         Welcome!
