You guys have a coyote season?Ours is open year round
It's open October to April, it's the longest season we have. I think we have a stable population in most parts of the state so they want to keep them in check but not wipe them out entirely.
There was a time when they were actually worth something so they were a bit of a commodity.
I'm afraid the $40 on the carcass days are probably gone though. When I was 16 I sold a couple one deer season and made almost 200 bucks. I took one in not to long ago and he only gave me 5 bucks.
The only thing we have unlimited season on is Hogs, wood chucks, and red squirrel.
