just picked up another one of those dangerous rem rifles
« on: January 17, 2011, 01:03:13 AM »
friend was selling a 7mag bdl at a real good price and i really didnt need another 7mag but couldnt pass it up. Not much of a fan of bdl stocks so i dropped it off at another friend who is a stock maker and hes going to remove the white spacers trim the stock down some rechecker it and oil finish it. Hes done a couple like that and there vastly better looking. He had just gotten done doing one of those old adls with the pressed checkering and it turned out beautiful. I would have bought that one too but he wants to play with it for a while. He will eventually get bored though and ill convince myself i need another 06 too!

Glad you got "a friend" and too" another friend ". T'was waiting to hear then "about the friend of the other friend  "LOL. Thank God! this was a short story , cause this "other friends friend" might just as well had "this friend too".

I wish I could find a cheap 7mmRM to rebarrel to .300H&H.  Good luck with your new rifle.

You should post a pic of that dangerous offender.
 I just bought on my self. A mod 7 cdl, ( 7mm08 ) 3x9 vx 1 leopold.
It had only 1/2 box shot through it. It, s my first Remington.
I am impressed so far. MIKE
