in .54 caliber? There is one in a local pawnshop in what looks to be unused condition.

I have seen them in good condition for anywhere from $175-$250. That said I got one for a hundred bucks once. Deals like that are rare though.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

It somewhat depends on what part of the country.   In some areas where lots of them are available used they are a dime a dozen, while in other areas (like here) where they are very scare they can bring much higher prices.

There's often a big difference between what "value" is deemed and what they are considered "worth" depending on whether you are the seller or buyer.    At over $600 new for a 50 cal now days from a dealer, one that is in fact still new is worth close to that, but lots of luck getting anyone to pay that much value for it.   Add that the 54's are discontinued and this rifle if still unfired is "worth" closer to if not more than the new price (well over $600).   But few buyers would pay those prices, even here where they are very hard to find.   There are just too many "good values" out there on-line for near new used ones (the power of the Internet).   So the bottom line is what they are worth is what somebody will pay for them.

On-line from private sellers I've seen very nice TC Hawkens offered for less than $100 to maybe $350, and on the auction sites for $275-$600.   And they often have to reduce prices to get them sold.

Best buy I've seen around here was at one of my freetrappers primitive shoots a few years ago when a gent stopped by with a new in the box TC Seneca 45 he wanted to sell.   He sold it to the guy two steps ahead of me for $50.    Same rifle on a dealers shelf here at the time would have been marked $450.   Taught me I need to take longer steps.  ;)

IMO-YMMV
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

When your buying, they are all too much.  When your selling, everybody wants it for free.

If you want an "average price, check out what they are selling for on Gun Broker, Guns America, and Auction Arms.  The auction houses are not location specific, but they will give you a general idea about what a used rifle is worth.  Understand though, that some people on those sites think awful highly of their rifles.

As far as I know, T/C still honors their lifetime guarantee.

About half or less what most folks ask for them here on the Classifieds. For some reason folks with them and the other older TC side hammer guns have an inflated view of their value.

I'd never give more than $150-$175 for any of them especially if not new in box. Personally I don't care for the Hawkin with all the gaudy brass so I'd likely not even give that. I prefer the plainer Renegade guns. I don't see the actual value different tho on them and we all have our preferences.

Here in central Colorado every pawn shop has a couple of T/C's, generally .50 caliber, priced at $250-$300. As to what they would actually take for them, I don't know, was just never interested enough to enter into bargaining. But those are the .50's, I think .54's probably bring more money as they never built so may of the "Big Boar" versions and they have been long discontinued.
As to T/C's "lifetime warentee", that holds only IF they have the parts. Things like locks, triggers, guards, sights and such as will interchange with current production Hawkens you can get. Barrels, breechplugs, tangs, and stocks were specific to that long discontinued model and lots of luck gettign those parts.

You really shouldn't have much trouble with a T/C Hawken or Renegade if you take care of it.  They  are pretty simple rifles.
