This morning the Muslim Brotherhood warned the United States, that if United States meddling in Egypt continued, they intend to cut off Americas supply of 7-11 & Motel managers.

 

If this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next, followed by Dell, AT&T & AOL customer service reps.

 

Finally, if all else fails, they have threatened not to send us anymore presidents either.

 

Its gonna get ugly, people.

Though it's a bit of a stereotype in the first place, most of those guys with accents are *Indian*, where they are religiously mostly Hindu, not Islamic.  A major portion of those 7-11 and motel managers are also Indian.  Learn the difference.  It's pretty sad as India has a pretty secular democracy and are one of our major allies - yet many Indians were getting lynched or harassed after 9/11 due to our ignorance and assumption that anyone with dark skin or wearing something on their heads must be an arab muslim.

Sadly the reason Native Americans were called Indians for so long as ALSO because of mistaken identity due to ignorance of the original settlers here.  The people of India seem to sadly have a hard time with the rest of the world keeping their identity straight.

I'd wager that when your ancestors got here they didn't assimilate either.  They brought their culture over and changed only as it was convenient and outside influences dictated.  Or do you think when Columbus stepped off the boat he was greeted with kegs of Budweiser by a bunch of Earnhardt Jr fans?

BTW most of the Indians speak English just fine, and just as a little hint: the ones in the call centers are going to be mighty hard to send back home since most of them still ARE back home in India.

If you simply want to snipe at each other and call each other names, like you're little kids throwing a tantrum or picking a fight, why not do us all a favor and start your own thread for it and quit hijacking everyone elses! My post was made in light hearted jest to make folks smile not so you could call each other names and act like asses! At least Powderman, Fourbee, Scatterbrain and Shootall  realise it so why can't the rest of you? I'm begining to think we need a special forum here just for kids of all ages to throw their tantrums! Next we'll need a baby sitter!
