Patty and I celebrated our 32 nd year of marriage. Lots of folks never make it 1/2 this far. God blessed me with a wonderful woman, the love of my life. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

This year will be our 28th.
We dated 7 years before so all total we have been together 35 years without a single argument!
It's not hard to do when you are still infatuated with each other!!!   ;) :)
I say that anyone that makes it past 20 years in today's world are from the old school, where marrage is more then just living together.
It is a bond of two people into one in such a way that neither can really function without the other on a daily basis.
It is a mutual love and respect both for and of each other to the extent that nothing comes before it except GOD all mighty!

Congrats, that's a long time in todays world.  In 25 days (1 June) it will be 35 for Michelle and I.  She has had a coulpe of opertunities to get rid of me, but each time she saved my bacon and kept me around.  I knew three months after I met her she was a keeper.

Newly weds, but CONGRATUATIONS anyway!!!!

May 30 will make 53 years for me and my bride.  I like to tell folks it’s been three years of wedding bliss and fifty years of mortal combat. ::) ::) ::)

LONGTOM. Great post Sir and well stated. I believe a strong faith in God has worked miracles in our lives. Too many folks get married but know nothing about it, even though it's a big step UP from shacking up. When we marry, some folks don't seem to understand that decisions they make  singly will affect both of their lives in one way or another. A marriage is a partnership, and I see from the responses here that God has bless many of us with good wives and life partners. Congrats to you all. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

I am always pleased to find others who take the "Better or Worse" as reality.
It is a hard headed business, this marriage thing, and we all are not worth it too our partners. Grace is wonderful and our Lord proved this by His commitment towards us.

Congrats, you're a lucky guy to have found the right one.

I only made it 12 years before I finally had the courage to get rid of her, it's tough to stay married to someone who has an affair early on in your marriage then steals your identity and ruins your credit.

Life is good now, though. I have custody of my 3 kids, A wonderful new girlfriend who hunts and fishes with me and I recently bought a house after spending two years cleaning up the credit mess the ex left for me.
