I went out yesterday evening to set a few coon traps cause it had warmed up some. While setting and scouting I found where a muskrat has been crapping on a rock sticking out of the water. I made a drowning set to where I thought he was coming on the rock. I also found "1" fresh tree where a beaver had cut it down and started on another. I know most of you are thinking 1 rat and 1 beaver cutting!? But it is alot to me being as I don't have much of either species available to trap. This morning when I checked the muskrat come up on the rock from the back side where my trap wasn't at, no coons were caught, and I made a castor mound set for the beaver. I also moved the rat trap to where he was coming on the rock from the back side. I'll let yal know how I do.

Good Luck To All,
Zach Ellis
