This young lady took over as police chief in one of the most violent areas on the US/Mexico border.  Her predecessor was shot and killed.  She has now fled to the US and is asking for asylum. 

This leads me to believe that either:

A.  She was dumb enough to think it wouldn't happen to her.

-or-

B.  She was smart enough to plan this out in order to sidestep years of bureaucracy and red tape to gain her US Citizenship.  I assume that there will also be interviews, a book deal, public speaking engagements, and probably a movie.

Hay, she lasted five months.  I really ecxpected her to be either kidnapped or shot before now.

Heck, instead of a President... we could just give them a whole, some-what functioning government!  Let's make this a "win" situation for them!  All three branches in exchange for one little police chief...

beautiful and smart, thats a great combo. undoubtedly a way to get legal entry. Gotta admire the guts it took to make it in that job for 3 months. I heard of her and thought they would kidnap her misuse her every way possible for a few days then leave her head at the office.
