Iowa attempted to move into the modern era in January 1st 2011 after the SCOTUS affirmed our second amendment rights.
With the arrival of the new "shall issue' permits local governments are defying state law and the constitution by passing ordinances that attempt to invalidate state law. Another culprit is the Iowa DNR that says our permits are invalid on an ATV or a snowmobile.
Fellow Iowans, it is time to get after our state and local officials to straighten them out.
