I'd like to use the more easily avaialble 50-70 cases for my Swede rolling blocks...rims are too large.....I do not have a lathe...any other methods out there for turning down the rims.....they aren't too big by much

they work great in my old husqvarna but not knowin' it's full history it may have had the chamber "touched up a bit" which brings me to my question. maybe rent a chamber reamer? they can be used by hand with a t-handle and a little care. good luck to ya friend, bubba.

p.s. the bertram brass i got from buffalo arms was total junk. for what it's worth, bubba.
fetch the hammer maggie-they's a bee on the baby's head!

thats my point...the .348 resized brass is actually a little too small in rim diameter..which works as long as you let the Breech block push the cartridge in. Otherwise you stand the chance of the extractor not being engaged. The bertram brass was not good .....too thick for the shell holders I had and the brass itself was thin.  But I'm not at the point where I want to run a .50-70  reamer into my 12.7 x44 chamber,,,,

Hello, Tackleberry.  If you don't have a drill press either, I guess you could look for a wood dowel just under inside dia. of case..If your lucky, perhaps a 1/2" one would tighten up down near head..Anyway, tape could be used to build up diameter for a snug fit.  Chuck this up in an electric drill & use a fine-cut file to reduce rim diameter.
