building a mold
« on: March 12, 2011, 05:38:35 PM »
we will me walking through the process of making a mold for your gun  no matter  the caliber.   simple molds then after we get through that we will go on to more complex pellot molds.   starting tommorrow afternoon, and will be using the mold to cast bullets tommorrow night.
this will be for lead cast bullets.   no round balls,   round balls are not always the best in smoothbore guns,  but we will get there,

Here's where I built a couple of moulds for Lance - 1" diameter, basic cylinder, a bit of a point.
You might recognize the lathe.  ;D
