finicky 10ga ejector
« on: March 20, 2011, 01:55:56 PM »
was patterning the 10ga pardner for turkey season and a few times it refused to eject the shell the first time i opened it, so i had to close it and open it hard and they ejected, is there anything i can do to remedy this? maybe a bit of oil? maybe a new sping? a thorough cleaning?

thanks Zack

See the FAQs, take it apart, stone things a tad, try the BB trick, etc.
Also, carry something like a .45cal bullet with you to drop down the muzzle into a fired, sticky case; usually it will pop it right out. Fits the pocket or pack, DONT leave home without it.
BTW, I dont often have this happen with new, once fired, but more often with reloads.
