1903 A3 - Magazine Spring ??
« on: September 21, 2011, 04:32:15 PM »
Hi All,

I have a Springfield 06 that was dated 5-44.  My dad bought it in the 60s and did a Bubba Sportization on it.  I got it 15 years ago and had a gunsmith make it into a presentable hunting rifle.  Anyway, the magazine spring is about dead making hard if not impossible to load the gun with more than one round.  What would be a source for a good spring, not another old one?

thanks

BB

Why be difficult, when with a little extra effort you can be impossible?

Call Brownells 1-800-741-0015 . If they don't have one they probably can tell you where to get it. Gun Parts is another place they probably has them but they will be surplus most likely.
