T/C Firestorm Flintlock?
« on: December 31, 2002, 12:33:17 PM »
What is the general concensus 'round here concerning the T/C Firestorm Flintlock? Worth their salt? I've heard pyrodex pellets don't work thru them reliably, but that doesn't surprise me with a flintlock. I'm considering getting one to hunt with during Flintlock season here in PA. My other choice would be Lyman's Great Plains Rifle (FL). Really like the removable breech plug on the Firestorm - easy cleaning. Is that cheating?

I have owned a Firestorm Flinter for 3 years. Great shooter and has o/s sights. I never tried pellets and use bp. Like the removable breech plug. Have killed several deer in the PA flintlock season with my firestorm. Extremely fast lock. You cant go wrong with the Firestorm.
