search function problems
« on: March 18, 2011, 02:31:09 PM »
OK, how do I search for all posts by poster?  It always asks me for a topic.  Don't care about the subject, just the user/poster.  Never have figured it out.

I've never had much luck with the search feature. I think you want to click on their profile and below there name, show posts. Good Luck!

There's a sticky in Forum Support that has details on how to use the search function, I use it all the time, it works much better since the server upgrade, you must list a subject tho, otherwise it doesn't know what to search for. As BV said, all posts for any member can be seen in their profile.

Thank you... I hadn't realized I could access the posts on people's profiles.  It's what I needed.
