Trapping Weasel.......Ermine.

OK,I got one runnin round the fur shed pickin up bits of beaver flesh.How to trap him?He tends to take stuff under the ramd can I just put some sets there?Thanks....L.H.

Any type of trap set in front of bait will take weasel BUT if i were you i would let the little fellar go and keep feeding him so he will stay around AS i like them as they keep mice and rats out of fur shed . I had a weasel sit and watch me skin mink and rats.  I would toss him a small chunk of rat every once in awhile and he would grab it and run behind some bvr boards lol.  As long as he was in fur shed  i let him stay...  They dont eat much   :-D
