Help comparing the L&R and R.E.Davis "Early" Trigger
« on: May 16, 2011, 03:25:08 PM »
Both R.E.Davis and L&R have an "Early Style" trigger, Davis #1019 and L&R #T-9. I'm having to decide between these two.

Are both triggers functionally the same, or are there differences? What are the advantages, or disadvantages, between these two triggers?

The trigger I choose will be paired with the L&R Jacob Dickert lock.

I assume someone is building this for you and has given you these two choices.  Personally I do not know of any differences that would matter, but since you are using an L&R lock, I'd go with the L&R trigger.  Just to make things (hopefully) work together easier.  Often times when mixing brands things are off just enough to give less than satisfactory results.
