Schumer has introduced a bill, #S436, which would require Federal registration of firearms, and would effectively end person to person sales, requiring a background check and transfer even to lend someone a gun.

This is the guy that authored the Brady Bill.

Take it seriously, and contact your senators...

Schumer, Lautenberg, and McCain are all fools in this regard. I could never figure out why so many wanted McCain for president when he has actively voted anti-2nd Amendment 73%  of the time for over 30 years. If he gets it before Congress and the Senate don't be surprised if ole McCain doesn't try to support it, and a version of it.

Schummer is a moron. I also heard he wanted to present a bill that said if you were arrested on drug charges you couldn't purchase or even own a firearm for five years. Not convicted of anything mind you, just arrested.
