Value of a Encore Frame

I've got too many barrels now for only one frame and am looking for another.  What is a good price for either a new frame or a used on that is in great shape? I have a SS, but wouldn't object to a blued frame.

I have seen them from 175.00 up to 300.00 depending on the area. In my area a whole Encore at gun shows run around 550.00 average. sell the barrel for 180.00 and the stock set for 100.00 and you are around 275.00. I think Ed was offering used at the gun show for 265.00 at one time. Just watch on the forum when they are listed or do a search and that will give you a good idea of the price.

Don't know if it will help, but I just paid $400 for the last whole encore muzzleloader I bought. Guess that would put the frame at about 220 or so if I were to sell barrel and stock for 180 and 100.

Buckskin if you go up to top of this page and click on G2 and go down to the post by OKHUNTER there is a link that will take you to a place that sells all kinds of TC things and it will give you an Idea on what new runs with stock sets both stainless and blue.
