Are they designed for the slide to lock open on the last shot?? Mine doesn`t. I read in the instruction manual do not dry fire. I sometimes lose track of shots fired and am leary of breaking the firing Pin.

Ok, there`s my answer. Guess I`ll hafta start keeping track? After carrying a Ruger SP101 around for a couple years, this thing is a joy.....
