got lucky i guess

bought two barrels from the classified  and both fit my recever. got a .223 and 45colt  made my day ;D ;D

Yes, you got lucky, but that's not unusual.  Of all the Handis under my signature, I have one with a stiff latch that I have to address and one I had to stone the latch shelf.  All the rest fit fine.....but, I keep 3 or 4 SB2 frames around to see where a barrel fits best.

What is the alpha code on your frame?
Im getting curious which SB-2 frames seem to fit up more barrels than others.
