What Scope do you use?

What scope brand and power do you use on your combo or drilling and what caliber is your drilling/combo

I use a Zeiss Conquest 2.5-8x32 on my Valmet 412S 12/.222
A Leupold VX1 2-7x33 on my Valmet 412 12/.30-06

  I have two for my "go to" 8x57jrs drilling, B&L 1.5x6 and a 3x9 Zeiss.



  The Zeiss is the best low light level scope i found, that's still at an affordable price, and that's why i bought it.

Hey DM

What case is that?  I have 2 like it but found them a tad small for the Valmet combo guns.  But they might be perfect for the drillings...

I have a Leupold VX-L 4.5 x 14 x 50 on my valmet 412 12/.308 but only because I had taken it off of another rifle and it was available.  I plan on putting a smaller scope on this rig after turkey season is over.

  I have several of the cases, i bought them from Krieghoff many years ago.  They were reasonable priced back then.  I have no idea if they even carry them any longer?

I have a Mueller 2 to 7 -32 MultiShot, with an illuminated reticle on my Savage 24, 22Mag/20 ga.  Just put it on it and need to go check and see if the POA is the same as  the POI on both barrels.

I had that same scope, it was mounted on the 12/30-06.  Nice scope...

Small 2-7 Nikon on my Zoli combo.  Given the choice I would probably update to a similar compact with the #4 recticle because it looks cool.
DM - very nice with the pair of scopes.  Talk about opening up options, or just making those around you feel that their drilling is now somehow inadequate. ;)

  Thanks Tom,

  That B&L worked pretty good for me for MANY years.  Then something happen that i wasn't expecting....i got old!  In low light levels, that B&L just wasn't cutting it with my tired eyes, so i had to search out a better low light level scope, and the 3x9 Zeiss won.

  I wish i had bought it years eariler!

Leupold VariX-II and VX-II 1x4x20mm.  Thinking about trying a VX-I 1x4x20mm shotgun scope for the heavier reticle.
