Great looking sniper rifle. I like its looks and it has got to be a hoot to down critters with.

Hathcock and company once used a 105 recoiless bore sighted to what they believed to be a snipers hide. 1 shot, 1 kill when they fired. A 105 recoiless is far from a snipers rifle also but a sniper used it. 8)

By the way the Soviets were using 22 lr in an urban setting not that many years ago. Distances up to a whopping 60 meters, all head shots.

I have had no problems with my ATI collapsible stock,I have used it on a 243 standard contour &  357 mag handi combo and It has been on my pardner 12 ga that has a 18 inch cut barrel.I only shot it about 25 times with the 12 guage because the recoil on a 3 1/2 lb 12 ga is unbearable no matter what load your shooting,Its perfect for the 357 a nice light rifle that balances well but its still a little front heavy.Maybe Im just lucky It hasnt broken down after 4 years but if It does break I will buy another I will also let you know if it breaks and share some scope bite pics,Heres a pic of the 357 with the collapsible and some tasty venison from last year 154 yards with federal fusion 158 gr factory ammo

To the ones makin fun of your sniper I think they need to look up the definition of sniper it has nothing to do with range a sniper is defined as a marksman who shoots targets from a concealed place so i think it is very much a sniper rifle
2-.223's,2-.243's, 4-22lr's, 357, 45LC, 7mm-08, .280, 30-06, 2-4/10's, 20ga, 12ga. and a custom savage 7mmWSM...

I didn't think too much about the title, I just thought the OP was being facetious.

Lets not split hairs now, the man is proud of his handi and should be. If you can put rounds on target then its a great rifle to me. I love my handi .243, is it a sniper rifle? Well anybody dare to come inside of 500 yards of it? I bet not.

Just let this thread be a lesson to anyone who posts "Sniper Rifle" and "Handi Rifle" in the same context! ;D
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

I am sure the OP is kicking himself in the head over trying to show his awesome rifle. This discussion on what constitutes a sniper rifle is best lest for another forum. Just my opinion.

Joeyant, I like the rifle you've put together and am sure I'd enjoy shooting it.  I'm sorry you got jumped on for what you've called it.

Do you have any range reports yet?  I'd like to know a bit more about how it works and what it likes.

Bullet preferences?
Load preferences?
shot placement at 25, 50, 100 and 200 yards with the 75yd zero?

Thanks for telling us about it.  Please tell us more!
Just my Awf Hand comments...

I agree, some member's posts counts have been reduced as a result.  :-\
